FREEVILLE, N.Y. (WRGB) — One New York dairy farmer is trading his work boots for sneakers for the TCS New York City Marathon for the goal of raising $26,200. That’s $1,000 dollars for every mile of the race to help families in need.
Tyler Beck is running in support of American Dairy Association Northeast’s Fill A Glass with Hope campaign in partnership with Feeding New York State.
“With local businesses stepping up and maybe each taking a mile on themselves and other families doing what they can, I think it’s fairly achievable. And with that, I think we can put real milk on the table for some of these families that need it,” said Beck.
