NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — A stationary front will remain draped to the south of the region as high pressure will pass to the north of the area.
We can expect mostly cloudy skies on Wednesday with a chance of scattered showers. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler, with a high of 76 in the city and low to mid-70s in the suburbs.
Thursday will be partly sunny, warm, and humid, with rain and thunderstorms developing toward evening. Temperatures will warm back up to 86 in the city, mid-80s for coastal locations, and upper 80s to near 90 for inland spots.
Friday will feature a mix of sun and clouds as a cold front moves offshore into the Atlantic. The high temperature will be 85 in the city, low to mid-80s in the suburbs.
Saturday will be partly cloudy and less humid as high pressure will move in from the west. The high temperature will be 78 in the city, mid-to-upper 70s in the suburbs.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and cooler as air from Canada overspreads the region. Temperatures will be in the low to mid-70s for much of the area.
Monday will be sunny and pleasant with a high of 77 in the city, mid-to-upper 70s in the suburbs.
Tuesday will be sunny and warmer as high pressure moves offshore into the Atlantic, and winds shift to the southwest. The high will be 82 in the city, low to mid-80s in the suburbs.
