The 31st Street Astoria Festival, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Astoria, was held on Sunday, August 30. There was something for everyone at this well-attended summer celebration for the whole community, which spanned 31st Street from Ditmars Blvd. to 21st Avenue.
A popular stop was the cotton candy machine.
