The red carpet rolls out once again at Lincoln Center for the 64th annual New York Film Festival, which kicks off with the North American premiere of Paper Tiger, starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson. There may not be any official awards given out, as at Cannes or Venice, but cinema snobs know this is where true Oscar buzz begins. (September 25–October 12)
What Are We Wearing?
In 1926 Rolex made history when it unveiled its patented Oyster case, creating the world’s first waterproof wristwatch. Five years later it followed that feat with another: the self-winding Perpetual movement. There have been upgrades since, but the Oyster Perpetual’s core principles have remained unchanged for a century. The flex now is collecting the rainbow of dials.
