The Village of Canastota will be undertaking its annual street paving project beginning mid-October, weather permitting.
The following streets will be milled and repaved this year:
– Clark Street from Roberts Street to Canal Street
– First Street from Tuttle Avenue to Will New Blvd.
– Ravine Street from First Street for 30 feet north
– Tuttle Avenue from First Street to Third Street
– Madison Boulevard (near 1 Madison Blvd.)
– Madison Boulevard (near 51 Madison Blvd.)
– Technology Boulevard (130 feet)
– Dominic Bruno Boulevard (100 feet)
Dolomite Products of Canastota will be the paving contractor. The project is primarily funded by the New York State Department of Transportation CHIPS program.
In addition, the Canastota Department of Public Works will be performing additional small paving and pothole repairs in the village throughout the remainder of the fall.
Drivers are asked to slow down and be extra cautious around paving crews while this important road work is completed.
