Work on Staten Island’s Korean War Veterans Parkway is set to resume on Monday, Sept. 14, after Labor Day. Crews will work in segments along the left lane of the southbound parkway, beginning Sept. 14. The $37.7 million project will rehabilitate the concrete road surface and carries approximately 38,000 vehicles a day. Work is expected to be completed by the end of 2029, with New Jersey-bound lanes continuing into early 2027.
