MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Riley County police arrested a man on Wednesday morning in connection with the aggravated battery of a woman in Manhattan, officials said.
The incident was reported around 7:41 a.m. Wednesday at an undisclosed location in Manhattan.
Riley County police listed a 46-year-old woman as the victim and a 21-year-old man known to her as the suspect.

As part of the investigation into the incident, Keimon Jamal Webster, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at around 7:53 a.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road.
Webster was then booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with aggravated battery and interference with a law enforcement officer.
Webster was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remained in the Riley County Jail as of Wednesday morning, officials said.
