A 38-year-old Staten Island woman’s death in Queens has been ruled a homicide, police said. The woman was identified as Angelique Apostol of Clifton. Authorities said she was found unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. She had worked at a domestic violence shelter and helped raise her sister’s children. Police are asking for help locating 55-year-old Mark Washington for questioning.
