“September 24th. Stay tuned, @NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani,” Danon wrote Sunday on X.

Danon accompanied the post with a revised U.N. General Assembly speaker schedule, highlighting Israel’s scheduled appearance on the morning of Sept. 24.

Across the image, Danon wrote: “Zohran Mamdani, PM Netanyahu is coming to New York. Save the date.”

The message comes after Mamdani repeatedly said during his mayoral campaign and after taking office that he would seek to have Netanyahu arrested if the Israeli prime minister visited New York under an International Criminal Court warrant.

Mamdani later acknowledged that New York City does not have independent legal authority to enforce the warrant, and urged the federal government to take action instead.

Netanyahu is expected to arrive in New York on Sept. 23 and address the U.N. General Assembly the following day.
