A 27-year-old woman was found dead on Saturday inside a Washington Heights apartment building in Manhattan.
Cops responded to a wellness check around 1:36 p.m. on West 156th St. and Amsterdam Ave. where the woman was discovered to have trauma to the head and neck, cops said.
EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The incident is believed to be domestic, police sources said.
No arrests were made. The victim’s identity is being withheld as cops track down the family.
The Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine a cause of death.
