Days after Brooklyn Beckham publicly defended his wife against critics of her weight, the couple turned up in Venice looking loved-up over glasses of red wine.
*EXCLUSIVE* Brooklyn Beckham and Wife Nicola Peltz have been pictured for the first time since arriving in Venice, where she is set to receive a Rising Star award at the annual Film Festival. The pair were seen taking in the sights with a glass of wine, before packing on the PDA. They shared a kiss while Brooklyn could be seen cheekily grabbing her bum.
Nicola Peltz, 31, is in Venice to collect a “rising star” award, and she and Brooklyn Beckham, 27, spent Thursday night sipping red wine and packing on the PDA, sharing a kiss as he cheekily grabbed her.
The prize comes from The Kineo Awards, which run during the Venice Film Festival but have no official ties to it. The citation notes Peltz actually started acting as a child 20 years ago, which makes “rising star” a curious label for a resume that already includes The Last Airbender, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Bates Motel and her own self-funded film Lola.
She’s being honored alongside Faye Dunaway, who gets a lifetime achievement award and co-stars in Peltz’s new indie drama Prima. Peltz plays a prima ballerina in the film and trained for four months for the role, dropping to under 100 pounds.
That weight loss sparked concern online, and just last week Brooklyn fired back at a follower who said his wife looked “sickly.” He replied: “Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s disgraceful.”
