NEW YORK (PIX11) — There are multiple subway delays after a person was hit and killed by a train on the Upper West Side Monday, officials said.
The incident occurred at the West 72nd Street subway station, near 2079 Broadway, at around 9:20 a.m., according to the FDNY.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene. It wasn’t immediately clear if the person was pushed.
The A, C, and D lines are delayed, and the Nos. 2 and 3 lines are making local stops, according to the MTA.
