NEW YORK (PIX11) — Over 1,500 pounds of pork products sold in New York and New Jersey, among other states, are being recalled due to a potential Listeria contamination, according to the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The products were imported into America in July and distributed by Ferrarini USA, Inc.

According to the FSIS, a product sample tested positive for Listeria during a routine import reinspection test.
The products, dry-cured pork jowl, were produced at Est. 1937L Bome SRL in Italy on May 21, 2026.
Products distributed by Ferrarini USA, Inc. were vacuum packed and can be identified with the following information:

Products have the establishment number “IT 1937 L CE” inside the Italian mark of inspection.
The FSIS states that there have been no confirmed reports of illness in connection with the product.
