Moviegoers in Greater Fall River and Attleboro will have an opportunity later this month to watch and vote on films featured in the Manhattan Short Film Festival during screenings hosted by Bristol Community College.
The college will serve as a local venue for the festival, according to a community announcement. Organizers said attendees will join more than 100,000 people across six continents in casting votes for Best Film and Best Actor awards after viewing 10 short films, each running 20 minutes or less.
Screenings are scheduled for Sept. 24 at Bristol Community College’s Fall River campus, 777 Elsbree St., and Sept. 25 and Sept. 26 at the Attleboro campus, 11 Field Road. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and screenings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at each location. Tickets cost $20 per person.

Proceeds from the Fall River screening will benefit the Bristol Theatre program. Funds raised from the Attleboro screenings will support the Attleboro Campus Fund.
