A beautifully bred Frankel filly has been added as a wildcard to Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
Offered by Whatton Manor Stud, the filly hails from one of the best families in the book, being out of Middleton Fillies’ Stakes (G2) winner Queen Power, a Shamardal three-parts sister to Prix d’Ispahan (G1) winner Zabeel Prince and a sister to dual group 2 winner and group 1-placed Puissance De Lune.
Queen Power is also a half sister to the dams of Field of Gold and Rizeena, the former last year’s champion 3-year-old miler with victories in the Irish Two Thousand Guineas (G1) and St James’s Palace Stakes (G1). The son of Kingman will take up stallion duties at Juddmonte’s Banstead Manor Stud in 2027.
Rizeena’s wins included the Moyglare Stud Stakes (G1) and Queen Mary Stakes (G2) at 2, as well as the Coronation Stakes (G1) the following campaign.
Whatton Manor’s Edward Player said: “We’re very excited to offer this exceptionally good-looking filly from one of the most contemporary families in the stud book. She will undoubtedly appeal to both owners and breeders, representing a rare opportunity to acquire a filly with such a wonderful pedigree.”
Tattersalls Book 1 is scheduled Oct. 6-8.
