Police are looking for a man they say slashed another man in the face in East Tremont.
The slashing happened in front of 735 East Tremont Ave. around 11:30 p.m. on Sep 3.
Police say the man approached a 44-year-old man from behind and slashed him in the face with a sharp object.
The assailant fled on foot after the attack northbound on Prospect Avenue.
Th 44-year-old man was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas for his injuries.
