VIDEO: Drone show recreates Twin Towers in New York skyline for 9/11 commemoration
NEW YORK —
A 9/11 commemoration held Wednesday night in New York Harbor featured a drone show with 2,977 lights — one for each victim who died in the 2001 attacks.

The drones displayed full-scale outlines of the Twin Towers.
Organizers say the art installation was developed with input from families of victims, survivors and first responders.
Friday marks 25 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
