TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Grab your dancing shows and head to the disco for a fun night supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Riley County.
Julie Valldeperas and Michelle Sink sported their best disco-era looks and brought a miniature disco ball for their visit to Eye on NE Kansas, sharing details about their fundraising event, The Manhattan.
The event includes special drinks, food, raffles and live and silent auctions. Money raised benefits mentoring opportunities for young people in Riley Co.
The Manhattan, a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Riley Co., is Saturday, Sept. 26 at the K-State Alumni Assoc. Center. A few tickets remain, and may be purchased at bit.ly/the-manhattan.
The online silent auction opens Saturday, Sept. 12. People may bid at the same line, as well as buy raffle chances (a special bottle of bourbon and a Taylor Swift autographed guitar are up for raffle). You do not need to attend the event to participate in the raffle or silent auction.
