New Yorkers are gathering today to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 at memorial sites and other locations across the state.
In the Lower Hudson Valley, local officials and community leaders will be joined by others at events in the villages, towns and cities across the region that is home to so many families, responders and survivors directly impacted by the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
Rockland County’s 9/11 memorial ceremony will be at 8:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the county’s 9/11 memorial, Haverstraw Bay Park, 2 Gagan Road. Westchester County’s 9/11 memorial ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Kensico Dam Plaza, 1 Bronx River Parkway, Valhalla.

A ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks will take place at Ground Zero in New York City starting at 8:30 a.m.
