There was an unmistakable sense of excitement, warmth and anticipation in the air this week as Bruriah opened its doors and welcomed students to a brand-new school year!

On Tuesday, they had the pleasure of welcoming their newest students, the Class of 2030! Freshman Orientation was filled with fun, laughter and opportunities to begin building the friendships and connections that will make their Bruriah experience so special. Students got to meet their new classmates while enjoying custom bag-making and plenty of candy. They also had the chance to explore and familiarize themselves with the building and meet their grade advisors, who will be there to guide, encourage and support them throughout the year.

Then, on Wednesday, the excitement continued as they welcomed back the awesome students. The morning began with a delicious breakfast featuring waffles, hash browns, a cereal bar and, of course, iced coffee, because what better way to kick off a new year?!

The fun continued with an energetic carnival in the gym. Students enjoyed popcorn, cotton candy, human foosball and an enormous game of Twister. The gym was filled with laughter, smiles and the kind of joyful energy that makes the first days of school so memorable.

Beyond the festivities, students also had the opportunity to meet with administration, guidance counselors and grade advisors. These dedicated members of the Bruriah family are here to provide support, encouragement and a listening ear throughout the year. Their presence is a wonderful reminder that every student has a team behind her, ready to help her learn, grow and thrive.

Here’s to a year filled with fun, growth, friendship, unforgettable memories and endless opportunities!
