The Brooklyn Center football team lost its home opener for the 2026 season, falling 42-6 to Minneapolis Camden.
The Centaurs scored first on a 27-yard Alpha Meaway touchdown run midway through the first quarter, but the Patriots answered with four scores before halftime- two rushing and two passing touchdowns- to lead 28-6 at the half.
The Centaurs (1-1) play at St. Croix Lutheran on Friday while Camden (1-1) is at St. Paul Como Park.
