A 14-year-old boy was wounded in a slashing at an Orthodox synagogue in Brooklyn Monday, and a 22-year-old congregant was taken into custody, cops said.
The teen’s hand was slashed inside the shul on 54th St. near 17th Ave. in Boro Park around 7:20 p.m., police said.
When officers arrived, they found the boy’s suspected attacker, an emotionally disturbed congregant, inside the synagogue and took him into custody, according to law enforcement. Charges were pending Monday evening.
The teen refused medical attention for a minor injury.
A knife was recovered at the scene.
