Detectives in Brooklyn are looking for the woman who attempted to snatch a child off the streets in a brazen kidnapping attempt earlier this week.
The NYPD released images of the female suspect behind the incident, which occurred at about 5 p.m. on Sept. 14 in front of a McDonald’s restaurant at 1133 Eastern Pkwy. in Crown Heights.
According to police sources, the woman approached the 4-year-old boy while he stood with his grandmother in front of the fast food eatery and attempted to grab hold of the youngster and pull him away.

Sources said the grandmother then intervened and was able to stop the kidnapper, who then fled on foot southbound along nearby Utica Avenue.
The incident was reported to the 77th Precinct. The boy was not physically injured.
Police said the would-be kidnapper had a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and black sandals.
