Greenfield, NY (WRGB) — A cyber tip about suspected child pornography led to the arrest of a 32-year-old Greenfield man after investigators say he tried to barricade himself inside his home and destroy evidence on electronic devices.
On Sept. 9, 2026, State Police of Wilton, assisted by the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, Homeland Security Investigations and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested 32-year-old Brandon Quintana of Greenfield, New York.
Quintana is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child; possessing a sexual performance by a child; and tampering with physical evidence. He is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
The case began with a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators executed a search warrant at Quintana’s Greenfield residence on July 30, 2026. During the search, Quintana barricaded himself in a room within the home and reportedly attempted to destroy evidence on electronic devices, according to State Police.
After multiple electronic devices were analyzed, Quintana was arrested at his home on Sept. 9, 2026, and taken to State Police in Wilton for processing. He was arraigned in Greenfield Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bond, or a $100,000 partially secured bond.
