More Broadway favorites have joined the lineup for A Celebration of Rodgers & Hart at Carnegie Hall October 5.
Newly announced for evening, co-hosted by Tony Goldwyn and Ethan Hawke, are Tony winner Shoshana Bean (with Sammy Davis Jr Bean), Joshua Boone, Adam Kantor, three-time Tony winner Patti LuPone, Tony winner Jessie Mueller, and Tony winner Savion Glover.
These artists join the previously announced two-time Tony winner Darren Criss, Tony winners Myles Frost, Santino Fontana, and Caissie Levy, Lilli Cooper, Michael Feinstein, Elizabeth Gillies, Lizzy McAlpine, Molly Ringwald, and Awa Sal Secka.
The concert will celebrate the work of iconic Broadway songwriting duo Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, with songs to include “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered,” “Blue Moon,” “Glad to Be Unhappy,” “I Didn’t Know What Time It Was,” “I Wish I Were in Love Again,” “I’d Like to Poison Ivy,” “I’ll Tell the Man in the Street,” “It Never Entered My Mind,” “Manhattan,” “My Funny Valentine,” “Stonewall Moskowitz March,” “The Lady is a Tramp,” “The Lion King,” “This Can’t Be Love,” “Where or When,” and more.
Hawke is hosting the evening after earning an Academy Award nomination playing Hart in the 2025 biopic Blue Moon. Tony Goldwyn is a co-director on a revamped version of Rodgers and Hart’s Pal Joey that previously played New York City Center and Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. (the latter under the title Chez Joey).
The concert is being directed by Danny Mefford (Kimberly Akimbo, Dear Evan Hansen) and will feature music direction by Andrew Resnick (Just In Time) and continuity by Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King).
