In mid-August, video cameras captured three teenagers with yarmulkes smashing a window, climbing into the sanctuary, tearing down a Pride flag and damaging works of art at my synagogue in Jerusalem, Kol Haneshama. No one was in the synagogue at the time; police are investigating. On Rosh Hashana, during services, another group of teenagers tried to pelt the congregants with eggs.
