A 17-year-old boy has been arrested, accused of murder, in the stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy at a crowded house party on Long Island a week ago, authorities say.
About 90 to 100 people were at the party at a home on Carlton Road in West Babylon on November 3 when a fight broke out around 10:30 p.m, Suffolk County police said.
Liam Delemo was stabbed. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 15-year-old’s family has been pleading since his death for help finding his killer.
The teenager arrested Monday is charged with second-degree murder and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip later in the day. He is being charged as a juvenile.
His name has not been released due to his age. He’s from Syosset.
