Queen City Bridge in Manchester closed after possible problems found during inspection
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The Queen City Avenue Bridge in Manchester has been closed after possible problems were found during a routine inspection, public works officials said Monday.
The city said potential structural deficiencies were found during a routine state Department of Transportation inspection of the bridge.
A full inspection hasn’t been completed, but officials said the bridge would be closed until further notice as a precaution.
The Queen City Avenue Bridge went through a major overhaul a few years ago.
