BRONX, N.Y. — Tottenville’s girls’ swimming team made history this weekend, capturing first place at the PSAL A Individual Swimming and Diving Championships with 377 points — the first time in Staten Island history a boys’ or girls’ team has ever taken home the city individual title.
The Pirates’ victory came against top competition from across the city, as they combined standout individual and relay performances to earn the team crown.
