An upstate facility for survivors of domestic violence is getting a boost.
The YWCA of Syracuse and Onondaga County received a $10,000 donation from Spectrum.
It will go toward renovations to the organization’s new housing facility for survivors of domestic violence called “Grace House.”
Syracuse Mayor Sharon Owens stressed how important the facility will be.
“This organization has always been a big part of helping individuals move to the next part of their journey, and this facility and their apartments will be a big part of this,” Owens said.
