The lonely Roblox widow who claimed an icy-eyed gigolo scammed her out of $6 million divulged a jaw-dropping detail during a confrontation in her lawyer’s office — revealing her father-in-law was an infamous wife-murderer, according to a transcript of the meeting.

She also claims the in-law threatened to kill her, too.

Marianne Flippo, 49 — who accuses silver-haired Greggory Starr of milking her out of millions following the suicide of her wealthy Roblox programmer husband — made the wild disclosure while arguing with her attorney, audio transcripts filed in Manhattan Supreme Court reveal.

“My deceased husband, his father, who’s a pastor of a church… he was a murderer,” Flippo told her attorney, Larry Hutcher, according to the transcript.

Turns out her father-in-law was James Michael Flippo, an infamous West Virginia pastor who brutally bludgeoned to death his wife, Cheryl, in a remote state-park cabin back in 1996.

The bombshell relation came out during a July 7 meeting between Flippo, Starr and Hutcher in the attorney’s Manhattan office, the transcript shows.

Flippo shot back that she wasn’t afraid of Starr — a West Point and law school grad — because she had survived sleeping under the same roof as a real killer.

“I slept in the same house with him,” Flippo said, according to the court-filed transcript. “He’d already murdered his wife. I had to sleep under the same roof with him, and he had already threatened to murder me… I’m not afraid.”

“I know the story… I looked it up,” Hutcher responded in the transcript.

The tragic story from three decades ago reads like a modern-day “Double Indemnity” screenplay, filled with life insurance fraud — and a possible gay affair.

Her former father-in-law, James Flippo, now 78, initially claimed his wife was being stalked and was killed by a mystery stalker who burst into a state-park cabin during a weekend getaway and attacked them both as they slept, according to reports at the time.

When he awoke, James Flippo told police he discovered his wife had been beaten to death — so severely that her “brain matter was exposed,” according to a court ruling. 

But investigators said they found no evidence of a break-in, and claimed the killing was an attempt to cash in on a huge life insurance policy he had just taken out in her name only a month earlier.

The case even reached the U.S. Supreme Court, which tossed his conviction in 1999 over mishandling evidence — which included a briefcase filled with intimate photos of a man that prosecutors claimed James Flippo was romantically linked to, arguing the murder was partially due to his wife discovering the affair.

A state court ruled the conviction should still stand and affirmed his life sentence without parole, which he is currently serving in West Virginia’s only maximum-security prison.

The court transcript in which the killer dad-in-law was mentioned recorded a meeting in which Hutcher had threatened to put Flippo under emergency guardianship to protect her fortune, the choppy transcript claims. 

“There was no way I was gonna let her pay him an additional $4 million,” Hutcher told The Post. “She was still being manipulated and coerced, and under this guy’s control, it was scary.”
