Matthew Mobilia, a Democrat running for state Assembly, says public service runs in his family. The 37-year-old attorney is launching a second campaign for the Assembly’s 63rd District after losing in 2022. He says his parents, Dr. Keith Mobilia and Dr. Janet Carney, shaped his views on family and service. Mobilia says fatherhood changed how he sees government support for families, especially on childcare and leave. He and his wife, Maureen, have three young boys, including Charlie, Theo, and 1-year-old Robert. Mobilia is focusing on the Mid-Island and says he wants what is best for his district.
