The Bronx Zoo took people behind the scenes of what a CT scan looks like for a gorilla on World Gorilla Day.
The medical team at the zoo noticed a female gorilla had a lump on her abdomen.
They scheduled a full physical, including a CT scan, for Suki, a gorilla born in 2000, despite showing no signs or symptoms relating to the lump.
The lump was determined to be a hernia. The team says she is OK, but they are monitoring her health.
