I hit up the brand-new 375° Chicken ‘N Fries location in Downtown Brooklyn. My mission was simple. Try every single chicken pop flavor on the menu. The result? Pure insanity.
Look at that spread. Box after box piled high with crispy fried chicken pops, drowned in every sauce imaginable. I started with their classic Buffalo Honey. Crunch. That signature sizzle of hot chicken popping straight out of the fryer leads directly into a massive drizzle of sweet buffalo honey sauce. Drenched. They finish it with a thick swirl of sriracha mayo and fresh scallions. The bite is crunchy, tender, and packed with sweet heat. Game-changer.
Next, I dove into the Sweet Chili chicken pops. They toss these crispy bites in a rich sweet chili glaze, samurai sauce, scallions, and toasted sesame seeds. Elite flavor combo right here. Look at that shine. The sweet chili glazes over the crust, keeping every single piece packed with flavor.
Then came the BBQ chicken pops. Slathered in a rich, dark barbecue sauce and smothered in house-made ranch, these come served with thick pickles. The barbecue flavor is thick and smoky. The creamy ranch balances the spice perfectly. Look at that bite. Incredible.
Then came the real test. Peanut Butter and Jelly chicken pops. Don’t knock it until you try it. They take crispy chicken pops and toss them in a rich grape jelly glaze. Then, they top it with peanut satay mayo and serve it with a side cup of warm peanut butter sauce. Look at that dunk. Doused. The sweet grape jelly cuts right through the rich peanut butter. They have mastered the art of sweet and savory at this spot. All I can say is, it works.
Finally, I rounded it out with their new Mango Habanero pops. Tossed in fiery mango habanero sauce and topped with curry mango mayo and scallions. It brings a tropical heat that hits you right away.
Which flavor are you grabbing first?
