BOROUGHWIDE — THE ATLANTIC ANTIC, originally scheduled to take place Sunday, has been postponed to Oct. 4 from noon to 6 p.m. as a powerful nor’easter threatens to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds to Brooklyn over the weekend.

According to the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corp., which hosts the annual, 1.5-mile-long fest, the city’s Street Activity Permit Office granted permission for the postponement due to the expected storm.

New York City Emergency Management has issued a travel advisory from Friday night through Sunday.

“We thank you for your understanding and support,” the organizers said in an e-blast. “We look forward to seeing you all on Oct. 4 for an amazing day of food, vendors, music, and family fun!”
