The party didn’t stop when the music ended at Randall’s Island.
Following two days of Experts Only Festival, Pacha New York served as the official afterparty destination for the weekend, hosting back-to-back nights on Sept. 19 and 20 with John Summit and several artists from the festival lineup.
Summit kicked off the afterparty weekend Saturday night, heading from Randall’s Island to Pacha after closing out the first day of Experts Only Festival.
He was joined by Adam Ten, Innellea and Dreya V, with the night also featuring a special back-to-back-to-back set from Summit, Adam Ten and Innellea.
The celebration continued Sunday as Summit returned to Pacha for a second consecutive night.
After closing Experts Only Festival alongside Subtronics with their SUBJOHNICS set earlier that night, Summit was back behind the decks at Pacha, this time joining GRiZ and Subtronics for a special three-way back-to-back set.
GRiZ, Subtronics, Devault, Rohaan, Yetti, GorillaT and Costa rounded out Sunday’s lineup, giving fans another chance to catch some of the artists who had taken over Randall’s Island throughout the weekend.
The two nights also supported a cause beyond the dance floor. In partnership with PLUS1, $1 from every afterparty ticket sold was donated to Femme House, an organization working to create opportunities for women, gender-expansive, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ creatives in music production.
The Experts Only afterparties came as Pacha New York approached the end of its inaugural outdoor open-air season. The venue will close out that chapter in October before transitioning to Brooklyn Pacha, its year-round indoor home.
Before the outdoor season comes to an end, Pacha still has several weekends of performances ahead.
Sonny Fodera will take over on Sept. 25 alongside Armand Van Helden and LOVRA, followed by BLOND:ISH on Sept. 26. The weekend wraps up Sept. 27 with Flower Power, featuring Nic Fanciulli and Roger Sanchez.
October will bring SOFI TUKKER on Oct. 2, Jamie Jones on Oct. 9, 50 Cent on Oct. 10 and Francis Mercier on Oct. 11. Closing weekend begins Oct. 16 with Marco Carola’s Music On, followed by Black Coffee on Oct. 17 and Marco Carola and PAWSA on Oct. 18.
Pacha will then return for Halloween weekend with Vintage Culture on Oct. 29, Kaytranada on Oct. 30 and Purple Disco Machine on Oct. 31.
The party will continue indoors at Brooklyn Pacha later this fall, with upcoming shows including Nervous Records’ 35th anniversary on Nov. 7, Miss Monique Presents BIORHYTHM on Nov. 13, Madeon on Nov. 14, Guy Gerber on Nov. 27, Mathame on Nov. 28, Nic Fanciulli & Friends featuring Elliot Schooling, Liam Palmer and Kidoo on Dec. 12, and Nora En Pure on Dec. 18.
