Four years after the band made its late-night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Goose will return to the ABC talk show on Friday, October 2nd. Although the band previously visited Kimmel back in 2022 while promoting Hungersite, things on both sides of the camera will look different when Goose returns.
For starters, Kimmel will not tape the show from his usual El Capitan Entertainment Centre in Hollywood. Instead, the long-running program will pack up and move to the Brooklyn Academy of Music‘s Howard Gilman Opera House for its eighth Brooklyn Week. Kimmel’s guests will include New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Howard Stern, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Saturday Night Live alums Seth Meyers and Pete Davidson, John Oliver, Billy Crystal, Bernie Sanders, De La Soul, TV On the Radio, Tom Morello, and more. Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s Brooklyn Week begins Monday.
Goose will also look markedly different since last visiting the show, adding drummer Cotter Ellis and parting ways with drummer Ben Atkind and percussionist Jeff Arevalo. Since 2022’s Dripfield, the band has released three original studio albums, including BIG MODERN! back in June. Goose celebrated the most recent LP with a three-night run in New York City, with two shows at Madison Square Garden followed by a Sunday matinee in Central Park.
Tune in to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC on Friday, October 2nd at 11:35 p.m. ET to see Goose perform. The band will play this weekend at Kentucky’s Bourbon and Beyond, followed by a fall tour in November. Find Goose tickets and tour dates here.
