DEWITT, N.Y. — A 38-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges after New York State Police say investigators seized cocaine, a weapon and drug paraphernalia while executing a search warrant in DeWitt.
Members of the New York State Police Troop D Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Wednesday, Sept. 24, at a home at 3 Caton Drive, with assistance from the Community Stabilization Unit and a State Police K9.
During the search, investigators said they seized approximately 4.6 grams of cocaine, a metal knuckle knife, a digital scale, packaging materials and a cutting agent.
Maileek D. Jones, 38, was arrested and charged with:
Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felonyThird-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a Class D felonySeventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanorThree counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanors
State Police said Jones was taken into custody without incident. He was processed and transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center for arraignment.
