The NYPD said a woman in her 60s was found dead inside New York City’s Central Park on Sunday morning as a slow-moving nor’easter drenched the region.

A 911 call was made around 9:45 a.m. after the woman’s body was discovered near East Drive and East 74th Street, police officials said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said she had signs of trauma across her body, apparently stabbed multiple times. The city’s medical examiner will determine her cause of death.

Police believe the woman may have been homeless. They did not immediately release an ID.

The NYPD did not announce any arrests as of late Sunday afternoon and there were no details about a possible suspect.
