Actress Florence Pugh, 30, debuted a vintage-inspired look on the streets of New York City.
On September 28, photographers spotted Pugh wearing what appears to be a silky, satin romper with lace detailing. The white and cream off-the-shoulder number was accessorized with strappy silver heels, a matching sparkling clutch, and sunglasses. Pugh opted to style her hair in a deep side part and loose waves.
Fans of the East of Eden actress shared their thoughts about the look in a Reddit thread. Several comments complimented the outfit, which is a departure from her typically edgier looks.

“She looks incredible. It’s an outfit few could pull off but the styling here (especially the hair!) is amazing,” wrote a commenter.
“Love this style on her,” added another.

Some commenters, however, shared that they weren’t necessarily a fan of the romper.
“Hair and face EAT! 😍 Dress is also no for me, dawg,” commented a Reddit user.
“I don’t love the lace and silk being different shades of white but otherwise I think this is great! I think the styling is just kinda fun,” shared another.
“I want to like it, I really do. In theory I do. But looking at the bottom it’s giving PJs and the top especially when it’s super straight across is giving lace kitchen window curtain,” added a commenter.
Florence Pugh and Zendaya Discussed Fashion in a 2024 Interview
While promoting Dune 2 in a 2024 interview with Extra TV, Pugh and Zendaya, who is known for her thematic red carpet looks, discussed their mutual love of fashion. According to Pugh, she and her Dune 2 castmate initially connected because of their appreciation for each other’s style. Zendaya shared that she loved that Pugh is “not afraid to experiment and to try things” when it comes to her clothes.
“That’s what fashion should be, you know, like it’s for us and what we like, you know, and I appreciate that you just rock your s–t,” said Zendaya to Pugh.
Pugh then said that she likes how Zendaya expresses herself through fashion, especially when she’s at red carpet events.
“Even if a few thousand people don’t like it, so what? Like, it’s you that’s going on the carpet, it’s you that’s enjoying it, and once you see someone do that, like we see Zendaya do it every single time she steps out, it’s enjoyable. Like, the whole thing is wonderful, and it’s silly, so have fun with it,” said Pugh during the Extra TV interview.
