Attorney Bruno Codispodi said that Vaughn has “great judicial temperament and the understanding of common sense, which is what we need in a judge.”

“You can also sense in his heart that he really, really cares,” Codispodi said.

Attorney Gregory LaSpina, who worked with Vaughn in the early 2000s as a young associate, said he has always demonstrated “capability, competence and  dedication.”

“Anthony Vaughn was everything you would want in a young associate,”  LaSpina said. “I have no doubt that he will be able to handle whatever the bench presents. He’s up to the task.”

LaSpina also called Vaughn a people person and a good listener, “but he’s not a shrinking violet. He will make the hard decisions when he’s called upon to do that.”
