Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s reported divorce has put fresh attention on the substantial property portfolio they built during nearly two decades of marriage. According to Page Six reports, the couple’s real-estate holdings span the United States and Australia, including a Nashville estate purchased shortly after their 2006 wedding, properties in Los Angeles and New York, and substantial homes in Australia. Their residences reflect the different places that have featured in their family and working lives, from city bases to sprawling private retreats. One of their Manhattan properties also has an unusual feature: a private car lift that takes vehicles directly to a dedicated parking area. Reportedly, the combined value of the properties at about $36 million, although individual valuations and ownership arrangements have varied over time.
Inside Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s seven-bedroom Nashville estate
As reported by Architectural Digest, Kidman and Urban bought their Nashville-area compound in 2008 for about $3.47 million, after selling an earlier Franklin, Tennessee, home for $2.7 million. The property sits inside the gated Northumberland community and became the family’s main American base. The roughly two-acre estate is considerably larger than a typical city home. Its main residence has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, along with a home theatre and a 30-foot hobby room. Outside, there is a swimming pool and tennis court, while aerial photographs have also shown a separate dome-like structure and a treehouse. The Nashville house has remained closely associated with the couple’s family life, with their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, also living there, according to Page Six reports.
Kidman and Urban added a $4.7 million Beverly Hills property
In the same year they bought the Nashville compound, Kidman and Urban also acquired a Beverly Hills Post Office property for about $4.7 million. The contemporary house occupies approximately 1.25 acres and covers around 4,100 square feet. It contains five bedrooms and four-and-a-quarter bathrooms, with a swimming pool and cabana forming part of the outdoor space.Unlike the larger Nashville estate, the Beverly Hills property works as a Los Angeles base. Reportedly, the house also made headlines in February 2025 after it was reported to have been burgled.

The Manhattan apartment with a car elevator
The most unusual detail in the portfolio is in West Chelsea. Kidman and Urban reportedly bought a three-bedroom apartment at 200 11th Avenue for about $10 million in 2010. The apartment has two terraces facing the Hudson River and an unusually tall 23-foot ceiling in its main living area. The building itself is known for its so-called Sky Garage, a system that uses a car elevator to move vehicles to parking spaces on the 10th floor. That detail gives the apartment a very different character from the couple’s larger country properties. Residents can essentially take their cars into the building rather than relying on a conventional underground garage.
A second New York property arrived in 2020
According to The New York Post, in 2020, they reportedly paid $3.5 million for a residence at 108 Leonard Street in Tribeca. The landmarked building was designed with three separate entrances, a feature that reportedly appealed to Kidman. Page Six reports reveals that the apartment itself has arched windows and wide-plank oak flooring, while residents have access to a pool, gym, rooftop, hot tub and media room.It was described as a pied-à-terre, giving the family another base in Manhattan without the scale of their West Chelsea apartment.
An Australian estate dating from the 19th century
Kidman and Urban purchased the Bunya Hill estate in Sutton Forest, New South Wales, in 2008. Reportedly, the property covers about 110 acres and has been reported as costing somewhere between $4 million and $6.5 million. At its centre is a Georgian-style house dating to 1878, with six bedrooms, a library, a pool room and wood-burning fireplaces. There is also a guest cottage, while much of the surrounding land is open countryside used for grazing. It is a very different type of property from the apartments in New York and Sydney, with the acreage forming a significant part of its value and character.
A $4 million penthouse brought Kidman and Urban closer to Sydney Harbour
A year after buying the rural New South Wales estate, the couple added a Sydney residence. The penthouse, reportedly purchased for around $4 million in 2009, gives them a city base close to the centre of Kidman’s Australian home territory. The apartment measures about 4,521 square feet and has large glass windows with views towards Sydney Harbour Bridge. Building facilities include a pool, spa, fitness centre and landscaped rooftop space. The two Australian properties therefore serve quite different purposes. Bunya Hill provides a large rural setting, while the Sydney penthouse places the couple in an urban environment with views across one of the city’s best-known landmarks.
Portugal added another European address
Portugal entered the picture more recently. In July 2025, Kidman was reported to have applied for a Portuguese residency permit, and reportedly that she and Urban owned a home in Lisbon. The couple were also linked to the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, a large private development south of Lisbon, although reports that they had toured or considered a property there did not establish that they bought one.The Lisbon property is therefore separate from the better-documented homes in Nashville, Beverly Hills, New York and Australia. It also shows how the couple’s real estate interests have extended beyond the countries where they have spent most of their working and family lives.
A portfolio built around several bases
Taken together, the properties reveal a pattern rather than a single style of ownership. There is the large Nashville family compound, a Los Angeles house, two Manhattan residences, a rural Australian estate and a Sydney penthouse, alongside the reported Lisbon home. The reported purchase prices add up to a substantial collection, although they should not be treated as a current valuation of everything the couple owns. Property values change, ownership can be shared or structured through entities, and some details surrounding the Portuguese residence have remained less clear.
