A Brooklyn Park man who was wanted for reportedly shooting another person in the head in a Minneapolis robbery in 2025 has been arrested.
Anthony Louis Rowe, 32, is facing three felony charges after he allegedly robbed and shot a man in Minneapolis in November. Rowe was charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and aggravated robbery.
Court records state that on Nov. 14, 2025, a man, later identified as Rowe, was captured on video reportedly approaching a group of people under a bridge near Cedar Avenue and 17th Avenue in Minneapolis before 6 a.m., where he reportedly raised his arm as if pointing a firearm and seemingly shot a man before leaving the area.
Authorities said the victim had been shot in the face and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
In a later interview with investigators in 2026, the victim said the bullet had entered his head above his right eye and broke his jaw. This caused him to lose all eyesight in his right eye, and he said the bullet remains lodged in his face; he suffers from frequent seizures and hearing issues.
Days after the shooting on Nov. 20, 2025, Rowe’s probation officer called investigators to inform them of a phone call they had received regarding him. The caller told the probation officer they had received a phone call from Rowe in which he admitted to shooting the victim and planned to leave the state.
The probation officer said a warrant had already been issued for Rowe on Nov. 11 when he allegedly cut off his ankle monitor.
Rowe was later arrested on Dec. 31, 2025, for reportedly conducting drug sales under the same bridge where the shooting happened. While he was arrested at that time, he was not charged in connection with the November robbery and shooting.
In May of 2026, another witness serving time in prison informed an officer that he had known Rowe for a long time and shared the details of the November 2025 robbery and shooting.
Rowe is set to have his first appearance on Thursday.
