A 14-year-old boy appeared in the Youth Part of state Supreme Court in St. George on Monday after being arraigned on 13 charges. The case involves a woman who was pistol-whipped and raped while delivering a package at the Berry Houses in Dongan Hills. Judge Keith E. Brown set bail at $30,000 cash or $90,000 bond, below the $150,000 cash or $450,000 bond prosecutors requested. Court documents say the defendant displayed what appeared to be a firearm, struck the victim about the head, and fled on foot. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, while the case remains in the Youth Part of Supreme Court.
