Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz has made a rare lateral addition to its litigation ranks, bringing on former Manhattan prosecutor Joon Kim in New York.
Kim has joined the Wall Street law firm as a partner in its litigation department from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton where he was a partner in the litigation and enforcement group. Kim’s addition comes months after the surprise departure of Wachtell’s co-chair and veteran litigator William Savitt to Gibson Dunn & Crutcher along with five other partners.
