Dave Chappelle is heading into the month of October with a lot of laughs.

The celebrated comedian, 53, is headlining a comedy show at The Stand West in New York City on Thursday, October 1.

The Emmy Award winner, who is set to take the stage at 8 p.m., is launching pop-up previews of The Stand Group’s latest location in the Big Apple.

Chappelle’s set is expected to show guests a preview of what programming will look like once The Stand West — a 4,500-square-foot venue that will seat approximately 150 guests — formally opens to the public.

The standup comedian is expected to perform new material.

“The Stand is bringing comedy to the West side, and Dave Chappelle is first up,” an Instagram post teased. “Experience the new room tomorrow night.”

In addition to its comedy programming, the new location will encompass a broader range of live entertainment programming including live podcasts, game shows, interactive experiences, live-streaming events, talk formats, happy hours and pop-up collaborations with entertainment brands.

Upcoming performers at The Stand West include Dave Attell, Chris Distefano, Laurie Kilmartin, Jay Jurden, Paul Virzi and more.

The Stand Group — cofounded by brothers Cris and Paul Italia and partner Patrick Milligan — has hosted standup comedy shows, live podcast recordings and more.

Its first location in Union Square has seen a roster of comedians including Jim Gaffigan, Shane Gillis, Nikki Glaser, Janeane Garofalo, Marcello Hernandez, Hannah Berner, Pete Davidson and more.

The Stand West is located at 407 West 15th Street in New York City. Tickets available from $250 here. For more information, visit TheStandWest.com.
