ASTORIA – The Queens Culture & Arts Network (QCAN), a division of the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens, announced that its new site at 31-01 Vernon Boulevard in Astoria is officially open and now accepting registrations for four exciting workshops.

The new facility will also serve as a welcoming home for cozy performances, exhibits, and rehearsal space.

The new offerings reflect what the majority of participants said they wanted, transforming community enthusiasm into engaging, hands-on experiences.

One workshop has been created especially for kids, and additional courses will be introduced over time – so there will always be something new to discover.

Participants are invited to step outside their comfort zones, explore their creativity, and enjoy an energizing escape from everyday life. Every workshop is led by an accomplished industry professional, including Broadway personalities who bring real-world expertise and inspiration into the room.

“In keeping with our goal of responding to the needs and wants of each of the communities we serve, these workshops reflect the enthusiasm and interests of this community, and we can’t wait to get started. The first course begins October 24,” said Susan Agin, Executive Director.
