Sarah Jessica Parker knows a thing or two about memorable footwear, and her latest New York City Ballet appearance was a fitting take on the art of the statement shoe.

The Emmy winner completed her romantic, ballet-inspired ensemble with sparkling silver pointed heels while attending the 2026 Fall Fashion Gala at David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center on Thursday. The pointed-toe pumps feature a square crystal buckle encased in a gunmetal frame.
The shoes are finished with a stiletto heel measuring four inches. What’s different about this style is that its uppers are completely decorated with small, shimmering crystal details in a silvery, light-catching finish.

Parker paired the sparkly heels with a custom long-sleeve, semi-sheer Simone Rocha midlength dress. The piece featured feminine floral embroidery and delicate pink ribbons that made it suitable for the ballet session.
The shoe choice is also in character for Parker, whose real-life wardrobe has long been closely associated with stylish and luxury footwear. Through her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City” and in “And Just Like That,” she helped turn high-heeled shoes into an essential part of the character’s fashion identity. Her own style has similarly embraced everything from dramatic heels to unexpected flats, and certain shoe brands like Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo became an essential part of her looks.
