QUEENS, N.Y. − New York City natives Geese brought their Getting Killed Again tour to Forest Hills Stadium for two sold-out nights, Oct. 2-3.

The tour follows September 2025’s “Getting Killed,” which brought in so much fandom for the Brooklyn four-piece (Cameron Winter, Max Bassin, Emily Green, Dominic DiGesu) that critics accused them of being overrated, industry plants and even a “psyop.”

On Oct. 3, the band got in on the joke, livestreaming their concert for fans at home. When they shared news of the livestream, the subhead read, “Geese: A Real Band,” perhaps as a nod to those who doubt their seemingly sudden rise to fame.

But the buzz around Geese had already been cultivating throughout the indie rock scene for years.

Their 2023 release, “3D Country,” remains a fan favorite, and frontman Winter’s solo “Heavy Metal” album was released at the tail end of 2024 to much critical acclaim. His sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall in December 2025 was filmed by Paul Thomas Anderson, who took home this year’s Oscars for best picture and best director.

Fans at the Forest Hills Show got creative with their admiration, with some wearing geese plushies on their heads and backs and others parading through the center of mosh pits before the raging crowd consumed them.

Want to get in on the hype? Here’s everything the band played in New York, and where to see Geese on the rest of their North America Getting Killed Again tour.
