Queens of the Stone Age have announced Joshua Homme and Friends, a one-night-only concert in Los Angeles to benefit CORE and the Sweet Stuff Foundation. The event, to be held at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater on November 16, features an impressive lineup collaborators: Weird Al Yankovic, magician Justin Willman, Andrew Watt, Troy van Leeuwen, The Kills, St Vincent, Dan Soder, Chad Smith, Sarah Silverman, Michael Shuman, tennis star John McEnroe, Norah Jones, Dean Delray, Bill Burr, Beck, and Jack Black are all advertised on the poster’s bill, uploaded earlier today (October 6) to the band’s Instagram.

Queens of the Stone Age recently announced their ninth studio album, Perfecth, to be released on October 30 via Matador Records. It’s their first since 2023’s In Times New Roman…, which itself came after a six-year dormant period in which frontman Josh Homme dealt with a series of personal issues. Homme stated at the time of In Times New Roman…’s release that whatever came next would be the start of a new era for the band; he sees the project operating in triads, according to a contemporaneous interview with Dean Delray.

Proceeds from the concert, the first announced to take place after Perfecth’s release, will go toward two organizations: the CORE Foundation, which acts as a fiscal sponsor of community-driven charitable endeavors, and the Sweet Stuff Foundation, which helps career musicians, engineers, and their families deal with illness and disability. Queens of the Stone Age have worked with Sweet Stuff before, hosting a benefit concert with many of the same guests in support of the charity back in March 2024.

Tickets for Joshua Homme and Friends go on sale on Wednesday (October 7) at 10 AM PST for artist presale, and Friday (October 9) for general sale. You can find them here.
